Hello Everyone

I hope you guys are doing okay. I wanted to post one last thing to say proper good byes and apoligizes. Things got hectic. Especially this summer. God and I have been working on my life and keeping me straight but I couldn't keep up with school, friends, espescially family, and the website. I was thinking about bringing it back up this summer but my summer wasn't that great either. God warned me and both me and him worked on that too. I lost a young cousin who I was close to, to a car wreck, and an uncle to lung cancer. We almost lost my grandmother who was in the ICU (intensive care unit). Many things went wrong so I couldn't keep the site going. Once school started back up there were some more things that happened. My brother got arrested for some stupid stuff and now has a federal charge against him. I started my first year of High School which was stressful enough. Recently we just had a scare of me haveing cancer. Instead it turn out to be a type of athritis that kids can get.

I want to apoligize for not getting to here to let you guys know that I am closing it officially. I don't think I can actually keep this going the way it should. However, if enough people would like me to restart up the site and get things going then I will. I'm not exactly sure how many people that will be but if you all would like me too then I will.

Please know I am incredibly sorry for not doing this sooner.

Just remember God is ALWAYS there and will NEVER leave you.

He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.

Pslams 62:2

Just remember that!

God Bless

~:~Joy Is Yours~:~

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again; Rejoice!

Philippians 4:4

Did you know that over 500 times' in the Bible we are commanded to rejoice? According to The Living Bible, "Be full of joy." Every morning I repeat to myself a particular verse in the Psalms. In fact some mornings I say it while looking in the mirror because I don't feel joyful. Nevertheless this verse is forever true and always helpful. Here it is:

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalm 118:24

The truth of that psalm helps me get my day started on the right track. I have found that if I start my day rejoicing the Lord, my day will be full of joy. A great preacher once said, "The surest mark of a christian is not faith or even love but joy." Did you know that Jesus came to give you joy, a deep, overflowing joy that only comes from God? Jesus said, "I have told you this so that my joy maybe in you and that your joy may be complete' (John 15:11). God's kind of joy is not a giddy, superficial good feeling. Rather, His joy runs deep. Even during the tough times, it prevails in your soul.

GOING DEEPER

1.   Why do you think the writer of Philippians repeats himself in verse 4:4?

2.   Have you ever felt peace or hope in the midst of trials? If you have, then you have experienced joy. What do you think is the connection between rejoicing in the Lord and being filled with Joy?

Have to say HAPPY EASTER

Today, 2006 years ago Jesus did what everyone thought was impossible!!! He rose from his tomb after he had died for all of our sins. He suffered a tremendous amount of pain just so we can make it into the kingdom of heaven!!! So be sure to tell God and Jesus thank you today for all they have done for us!!!

Thanks for giving me that extra week to pull myself together. I really needed it. There are still some things going on at home but God is protecting me! I'm telling you guys now, there is going to be something way worse that is going to happen but I don't know what it is. God has told me that there is going to be something way worse happening... but he has told me that He WILL protect me through it!

Be sure to check out the PRAYER WALL! I'm pretty happy with the way I've done things on the site ... But yes please make sure you stop by and you know how to get ahold of me if you'd like me to pray for you or put you on the prayer wall of anything like that!

AN ATTITUDE OF THANKFULNESS

“Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

1 Thessalonians 5:18

There is always a reason to be thankful. Notice that today’s Scripture doesn’t’ say to be thankful for all things but to be thankful in all things. Even in the most difficult of circumstances you can find a reason for a thankful heart. I like the phrase that says, “I complained because I had no shoes until I met a man that had no feet.” NO matter what your circumstances, I believe there is a reason to be thankful in your circumstances. Your situation may never change, but your attitude can change, and that will make all the difference in the world!

Terry Foxe was a Canadian distance runner who started a run from one side of Canada to the other. He ran at least 26 miles a day to raise money for cancer research. He was a cancer victim himself. He ran every mile on one leg, since his right leg had been amputated well above the knee. Almost everyday a television announcer or radio newscaster would put a microphone in front of Terry and ask him how his run for cancer was going. Often exhausted and losing valuable strength, Terry would say, “I don’t know about tomorrow, but God game me another day to live, and I’m thankful for each day I’m alive.” Terry didn’t finish his run across Canada because he died of the dreaded disease. Yet even to the end he remained thankful for each day and considered each day God’s gift to him. With an attitude of thankfulness he made the most of a difficult situation.

GOING DEEPER!!!!

1.       What is the difference between being thankful for all circumstances and thankful in all circumstances?

2.       What are your circumstances right now? Is it time for you to begin developing a greater attitude of thankfulness in your life?

“Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done.”

-         1 Chronicles 16:8

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His Love endures forever.”

- Psalm 136:1
